Book launch day!

And I don’t mean launching books off a cliff or anything.

I’m so excited that this day is finally here. After a year of work, here it is:

Available for Kindle eBook and in paperback.

I’m releasing it on August 21st for a special reason. The short of it? It’s my mom’s birthday.  

Happy birthday mom! :) 

My mom was a huge help in this project. In fact, it wouldn't have been possible without her. She introduced me to the wuxia genre when I was a kid, and patiently explained to me what was happening in The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber,  when I didn't understand what was going on (this was way before fansubs and stuff like Viki, friends. I'm getting old).  

Around this time last year, I had a long conversation with her about the different plots and tropes and themes involved with wuxia (my dad chimed in from time to time).  In fact, one of the chapters (The Merchant Princess) in this book came from this conversation.
 
Unfortunately, I’m not able to be with her this year—our borders are closed till October—but I’m thinking about her today.
